Delicias Andinas Arepas Antioqueñas Amarillas are the classic Arepa made with yellow corn grits, named after the beautiful province in Colombia where our original recipe and inspiration was born.
Serving suggestions:
Simply heat in a toaster or conventional oven until hot and crispy. Top with butter and a sprinkle of salt. These Arepas complement any meal and make an excellent substitute for rice or bread.

Yellow Hominy Corn, Salt, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid
Avocado Salad with Arepa
Time: 15 minutes2 Servings
INGREDIENTS
- 2 Delicias Andinas Arepas Antioqueñas Yellow Corn
- 1 Ripe Hass Avocado
- 1 chopped medium tomato
- 3 chopped Romaine lettuce leaves
- Olive oil and red wine vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
- 1. Preheat grill.
- 2. Peel and cube the avocado, tomato and rough chop the romaine lettuce, toss it into a medium bowl with olive oil and red wine vinegar. Add salt and pepper to taste. Refrigerate to chill.
- 3. Heat 2 Arepas de Queso on a skillet with low heat for about 5 mins on each side.
- 4. Plate with Avocado salad on top of each Arepa and enjoy.
